Welcome, Neighborhood School Advocates!
CNS advocates for policies that strengthen the neighborhood school concept in the nine neighborhood elementary school campuses currently operating in the Santa Barbara Elementary School District. We support the re-opening of the three downtown schools which were closed (and sold), Lincoln, Wilson, and Garfield. We advocate for policies which bring equitable resources and programs to the neighborhood, rather than transporting children out of their neighborhood.
